Token2049 Singapore Recap: The Biggest Crypto Conference Yet

The premier crypto event, Token 2049, unfolded in the heart of Singapore, and Kairon Labs is proud to participate in it as an official sponsor. We hosted exclusive side events that brought together pioneers from the Web3 space. These events, alongside our involvement in a key panel, made way for meaningful conversations on the future of decentralized technologies and our role in the space as an ethical crypto market maker.

The event was bigger than ever before, with three packed floors—an upgrade from the two floors used last year—and over 800 side events happening throughout the week. Celebrities like Iggy Azalea and Red Bull F1 drivers were spotted at the venue, adding to the buzz and excitement. Kairon Labs had a dedicated booth, where we engaged with a constant flow of attendees eager to learn more about our work in liquidity provision and market-making strategies. The energy was electric as industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts came together to forge new connections.

The event culminated in the iconic AFTER2049 party at Marina Bay Sands, with crypto enthusiasts flooding the streets of Singapore, coinciding with the high-energy atmosphere of the F1 Grand Prix. Traffic was thick, and the city was buzzing with activity as the worlds of crypto and motorsport intertwined, making for an unforgettable week.

VIP Mixer with INVCTS and AITECH

Our first side event, the Token 2049 VIP Mixer, co-hosted with INVCTS and AITECH, provided a high-end experience for Web3’s innovative leaders. Held at a private rooftop lounge just a 30-minute walk away from the main Token 2049 venue, this exclusive gathering was designed to offer an intimate environment where attendees could freely exchange their insights, not just on the challenges and opportunities of today but also on the collaborative possibilities that can transform the Web3 space.

The evening was marked by fortunate weather and a full moon that perfectly aligned with the theme of the event. Guests enjoyed gourmet delicacies and premium open-bar drinks, creating an ideal atmosphere for discussions around the future of Web3 and decentralized technologies. As a strictly private affair, only a select group of pre-approved attendees attended, adhering to a strict close-door policy.

Founders Night with AlfaCatalyst and Decubate

Kairon Labs’ second official event, Founders Night, co-hosted with AlfaCatalyst and Decubate, was a unique blend of networking and leisure. Held at one of Singapore’s top-rated rooftop venues, with stunning city views, this VIP-only event welcomed leaders and innovators from sectors spanning AI, Depin, RWA, DeFi, and beyond.

Guests enjoyed signature cocktails and a selection of small bites, all set against a backdrop of moon-themed décor, which added to the evening's hopeful atmosphere. The event had 2000+ sign-ups and was overbooked through the night, dubbed one of the busiest side events for the week. Special shout out to Maks from Alfacatalyst and Brandon from Decubate.

Liquidity Solutions for Token Issuers on V4 & Beyond at Hooks 2049: Matt Engel

In addition to hosting high-level networking events, Kairon Labs was represented on stage at one of Token 2049's key side events—Hooks 2049, organized by Arrakis, Uniswap Foundation, and Panoptic. Our very own Head of Sales, Matthew Engel, took part in a panel discussion, sharing insights on Liquidity Solutions for Token Issuers on V4 & Beyond.

With the advent of Uniswap V4 and other advanced liquidity protocols, the conversation revolved around the technical challenges and opportunities these platforms present for token issuers looking to scale their projects efficiently.

Engel highlighted Kairon Labs’ expertise in liquidity provision, zeroing in on our ethical brand of market making and what token projects can get from it. He emphasized the importance of efficient liquidity management in enhancing market stability and growth for token projects.
